Therefore Project was born out of the desire to envision, equip, and empower followers of Jesus to live in the therefore of being official representatives of Jesus in the world He loves. It is about learning to be conversational communicators of the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that can change a life forever.

 

Therefore is a response to something: an action that follows an understanding. It starts with knowing, then moves to doing. 

 

Being a follower of Jesus Christ is about living in a relationship with the infinite-personal God in a way that is all about the therefore.  That’s why the word is used nearly 400 times in the New Testament: something has happened that leads to something happening. 

 

2 Corinthians 5 introduces us to one of the greatest therefores in all the New Testament:

 

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old has gone, the new is here!  (vs. 17)

 

So just what is this new creation…this new person…supposed to do?

   

God reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. (vs. 18)

 

Therefore, we are ambassadors (official representatives) for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us. (vs. 20)

 

God has enlisted every follower of Jesus to step into their role as conversational communicators of the good news of Jesus.  Therefore Project is committed to helping in this process by providing:

 

• practical training in thinking like Jesus that leads to living like Jesus in His purpose.

 

• simple answers to some of Christianity’s most difficult questions that are designed to lead to conversational communication of the Gospel.

• a simple and clear way to present the Gospel.

• live seminars to train followers of Jesus to become conversational communicators of the Gospel in their everyday lives.
